Program Assistant Position Description

Job Summary –

The Program Assistant position provides a wide range of support to staff and instructors at the Woodstock School of Art. Responsible for assisting with the daily classes, intensive workshops, and special events. Reports to Executive Director.

Primary responsibilities –

  • Staff liaison for assigned online classes:
    • Manage zoom settings and links
    • Work with class monitors to complete attendance and screen sharing
    • Process student questions
  • Confirm studio set up needs with instructors and class monitors
  • Communicate with staff and instructors to purchase supplies, as needed
  • Research, organize and distribute office/art supplies
  • Coordinate studio/office key distribution to instructors and staff
  • Assist Program Coordinator with website and social media content
  • Event Management:
    • Coordinate intake and pick up of artwork for gallery exhibitions
    • Manage logistics of set up and clean-up of special events
    • Schedule volunteers for special projects and events
    • Update donor wall, as needed

Job Requirements –

  • A minimum of one year of experience in an office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and live streaming
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Integrity, and a dedication to the mission of Woodstock School of Art
