Scholarships

Scholarships at the Woodstock School of Art are generally awarded to students who intend to maintain an ongoing relationship with the school or who have demonstrated a commitment to a career in the Fine Arts. All students seeking a tuition scholarship must complete an application. Scholarships do not cover model fees, lab fees, or registration fees.

Scholarships are available for ongoing classes only.

There are 3 types of adult scholarships:
– Merit Scholarship is a tuition scholarship often awarded to first time students.
– Work Exchange Scholarship is a tuition scholarship given in exchange with a work assignment (office or grounds work).
– Monitor is a tuition scholarship given in exchange for assisting instructors in studio/online classes.

Applications are reviewed quarterly. Deadlines are
– Dec 15th, 2022 for January-March classes
– March 15th, 2023 for April-June classes
– June 15th, 2023 for July-September classes
– September 15th, 2023 for October-December classes

All student scholarship inquiries will be replied to by the end of the month following the deadline by email. If your scholarship (including monitors) is approved, you must register online with the coupon code we provide in the award letter within 48 hours of receipt by email. Failure to register online may result in loss of scholarship for that month due to lack of space. If you have difficulty with registration process, please contact registrar@woodstockschoolofart.org or 845-679-2388.
