ABOUT THIS COURSE:
This online course is a two-part oil painting demo series. Each demo is approximately 1.5 hours in length and deals with specific issues relating to color and light in still life painting. There is no supply list, or homework. Just watch, learn, and enjoy!
Students will learn to organize and simplify transparent form into value, and think in structural ways to help create convincing transparent form into value a still life painting.
October 30: Simplifying transparent form, understanding relative values.
November 6: Color connectors, cast shadows, and surface reflection.
Best suited to intermediate level students. Ages 16+
