Artist Julio Valdez will guide participants through the unique textural possibilities of one of his signature techniques, Silk Aquatint, then combine those prints with Monotypes for deep layering and creative results. This class will be using low-toxicity Akua Kolor and Akua Intaglio water-based soy inks for a mostly non-toxic printmaking experience.
