The Joy of Watercolor

Mariella’s approach is professional and focused on the individual student. She will never paint on your painting. Mariella will help you strengthen your skills, bolster your confidence, and take specific steps towards becoming a better painter. Each 3-hour class consists of a series of skills-building exercises culminating in painting time when students integrate concepts – each in their own unique way. She believes that painting is work. In her classes, the work of painting becomes a joyful endeavor.

This class is student-centered, active, skills-based, your hands will always be moving. Students will gain precision, expression, shape definition, color matching, individually tailored experience for each student, confidence-building, learning by doing, and opening to the joy of both the doing and the learning.

Suitable for all levels; no experience necessary! Ages 16+
