The Figure Intensive

The figure has been an inspiration since the earliest of human creations. An artistic tradition that continues to help us express ourselves in ways no other subject matter can. In what ways will you explore this everlasting muse, the human figure? This workshop will start with a short intro and an overview of 4 interdependent drawing modalities which can fit into already existing structures of observation work. We will work with quick poses and suggested exercises, and progressively longer timed poses. This course is for anyone who wants to use the figure as inspiration for their work. Great for students eager to start working from the model and for seasoned artists who want to further their studies of the human form. Bring whatever medium inspires you, but do check the supply list.
