Still Life: Color and Light Online Oil Painting Demo Series

This online course is a two-part oil painting demo series. Each demo is approximately 1.5 hours in length and deals with specific issues relating to color and light in still life painting. There is no supply list, or homework. Just watch, learn, and enjoy!

March 6: Mixing your own black; colors found in the color black.

March 13: Finding color in a white still life.

Students will learn to identify temperature in the colors black and white, learn ways to mix the color black instead of buying tubes.
