Still Life: Color and Light Online Painting Demos

This online course is a two-part oil painting demo series. Each demo is approximately 1.5 hours in length and deals with specific issues relating to color and light.
There is no supply list, or homework. Just watch, learn, and enjoy!

March 24: Cast Shadows, Part One
Topics include:
Simple and effective lighting for producing interesting cast shadows,
The importance of seeing your still life object and cast shadow as one form.

March 31: Cast Shadows, Part two
Topics include:
Transparency and opacity of cast shadows,
Relative colors found in cast shadows

Best suited to intermediate level students. Ages 16+
