Sketch and Paint Along with Robert: Painting Mountains with Clouds in Line and Watercolor: Depth, Balance and Composition

Whether ablaze in autumn’s colors, covered with a mantle of summer’s verdant hues, or snow capped in winter, mountains and adjacent clouds hold a fascination by their visual correlations. Variable characteristics between earth and clouds offer almost infinite design possibilities.

This class will explore this inspiring subject as Robert shows and discusses ideas, methods to achieve effects, color and more for sparking our own creativity.  Whether you are a beginner or experienced, you’ll be inspired as you learn about diverse approaches for painting this boundless subject. You may work in any drawing or painting medium. Robert will be working in pencil, pen and watercolor. You may choose to just watch or to sketch and paint along, step-by-step, with very popular instructor, Robert Carsten. In each of these classes we will see examples and focus on a different approach, utilizing diverse techniques. Photos and a materials list will be provided via Dropbox, where participants can also share zoomclass work or optional homework for written critique. All levels welcome.
