Portfolio Development – From Realism to Abstraction for Teens

In this 4-week course, students will be guided through a set of art-making projects with the aim to produce works worthy of a portfolio for application to Art School. The concentration will be on Still Life; this will be explored through drawing and collage supported by art historical references. In addition, there will be briefs on art school expectations, portfolio presentation, and preparing images for on-line portfolio submissions to art schools and art exhibitions.
