Painting The Faces You Love – Getting Color Right: Focus on Hair Color

$120.00

69 in stock

SKU: PFYL 0706202207272022 Category: Classes and Workshops

Through demonstrations and a series of homework exercises, you will learn to see and re-create your loved ones’ hair color accurately. See how perceived hair color may be different from what you think it is, given the lighting and background colors. Expand your ideas of the color mixtures to use when painting a wide range of hair color: blonde, red, brown, black, grey and white hair. Given the hair color, what color to use in painting the hair highlights.

Students will develop better ability to see and discern nuanced color. Better skills for mixing paint to match the desired tone. Improved painting skills, especially for depicting skin tones, hair color, eyes, and lip color.
