This workshop, for all experience levels, explores how drama and impact can be achieved through a well thought out composition and effective combinations of blacks, whites and tones using a variety of tools. Learn to juxtapose contrasting or subtle textures and patterns while considering a light source to create an impactful work of art. Hone your skills by learning various cross-hatchings, parallel lines, stippling, textures, fades, use of thin-to-thick lines as well as block preparation and printing. Simple and complex images can be equally expressive and beautiful!
