Figure Painting and Composition

In this course, you will paint a model who may be clothed or unclothed, in a long pose that lasts for more than one week. There will be props in the surrounding setting to help make the pose feel natural. Figure painting focuses on the human form, while composition is the art of arranging all the elements within the painting. You will learn how to organize everything (the setting, including the figure and related objects) to create a compelling visual experience.
