Exploring Encaustic Mixed-Media

Explore the use of encaustic paints and other painting media to create works that convey a sense of being lit from within. You will learn how to combine layers of encaustics with a wide range of other media including oils with beeswax, India inks and watercolors on panels and paper.

This session is appropriate for artists who are new to encaustic painting as well as artists with a working knowledge of encaustics.
