Drawing from the Masters

John A. Varriano will guide you through this time-honored tradition that was practiced by all of the masters we will be studying. This interactive class will analyze the portrait and human figure in terms of masses, planes and construction lines. Students will be asked to make copies of lesson plates and master drawings. The class will combine lecture, demonstrations, and critiques of students’ works.

Suitable for all levels, no experience necessary! Ages 16+
