ABOUT THIS COURSE:
The Series Painting The Faces You Love – Children will include three sessions of four week classes. In this first four week class, our focus is on accurate proportions. Some of the content in these classes will overlap but you will gain something new from each session, we recommend signing up for all three!
Through this course students will gain the ability to show a child’s age with accurate proportions. How to capture the innocent and sometimes nuanced expressions of children. How to use color and lighting to help convey the desired feeling. How (and why) to paint a child engaged in an activity. Better skills for painting features, skin tones, hair, and clothing.
Students who sign up for all 3 sessions are awarded a private, one-on-one Zoom critique with the instructor after the series is completed.
This class is suitable for beginner, intermediate, or advanced students. Ages 15+
