Paint a realistic portrait in a classical grisaille. Using only neutral greys, the result is beautiful as is and can also serve as an underpainting.
Lois Woolley is an award-winning painter whose specialty is portraiture. Her approach to painting and teaching is based on strong drawing skills and a rich use of color. She co-authored with Hongnian Zhang, The Yin-Yang of Painting, which presents Zhang’s color theory. Represented by Portraits, Inc. and Portraits North.
