Online Live Course
ABOUT THIS COURSE:
Using just three tubes of color, along with black and white, the first three classes will start by mixing a chart—blues, warm colors, and greens—followed by homework using that day’s chart to create paintings in dynamic and harmonious color compositions. Discussion and critique of historical artwork as well as finished homework includes hue, saturation, value, and temperature. Paintings can explore color compositions that are subtle or bright; high contrast or low; monochromatic, analogous or complementary.
Deadline for registration is 72 hours before the first class. For Zoom links and other important information about this course, please check your student dashboard.
Painters of all levels and media are welcome.
