All students are eligible for a Thompson Family Foundation scholarship, and must fill out a scholarship application form in order to complete registration. ABOUT THIS CLASS:
We will be exploring the work of Georgia O’Keeffe. We will learn more about the themes of Modernism. The Natural World. Abstraction. Feminism/Womanism. We will be using multiple media and techniques.
This class will spend four weeks diving into the work of Georgia O’Keeffe. Students will study her life and art, examining the aspects of her experience that most influenced her work.
Suitable for beginner and intermediate students. Ages 9+

Please note that for workshops lasting all day there is a one-hour break from twelve noon to one PM. Students are invited to bring lunch and eat at the school or may go to any of the local dining establishments. The school does not provide lunch or refreshments.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
An arts educator with a focus on intersectional, disability justice, as well as the founder and director of Outside Voices Theater Company and Poets, of Course. Catherine has a BA Hons in Theater from Victoria University of Manchester, England and an MFA in Performance and Performance Studies from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. She currently resides in Woodstock, has written multiple conference papers, and is responsible for the creation of the performing arts department at VSA Arts of New Mexico for adults with intellectual disabilities. Catherine works with Woodstock School of Art in collaboration with The Secret City.
