This exhibition celebrates WSA students who are current students (Now) and past students (Then). We also invite WSA students to submit work that follows the theme Now and Then.
Juror: Jenne M. Currie
Jenne M. Currie, the daughter of two painters, Ethel Magafan and Bruce Currie, was born and raised in Woodstock, NY. She moved to New York City to study at the Art Students League and soon after began fabricating welded steel sculptures as well as doing bronze casting in Pietrasanta, Italy. In later years, she began making painted wooden wall sculptures and she currently alternates between this medium, painted paper collages and mixed media. Jenne has conducted workshops for adults at the Art Students League of NY and more recently at the Woodstock School of Art. Jenne has exhibited her work in numerous prestigious Manhattan venues such as the National Academy, Seligmann Galleries, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Salander-O’Reilly Gallery as well as in New Canaan, Ct. at Silvermine Guild, Boscobel Manor in Garrison, NY and the Schenectady Museum of Art. Most recently Jenne was invited to exhibit 13 of her works at Castello 925 in Venice, Italy. Jenne is currently represented by the Buster Levi Gallery in Cold Spring, NY.

ELIGIBILITY
– A non-refundable entry fee of $25 includes the submission of up to two works.
– Only 2-D work is eligible for submission. (Due to space restrictions 3-D work can not be submitted)
– The exhibition is open to all current and former students who have completed a month of weekly classes or a workshop at Woodstock School of Art.
– Work must be the result of studies with a certain instructor.
– Work previously shown at WSA or Olive Free Library is not eligible.
– Work may not exceed 24 inches in any dimension, INCLUDING FRAME.
– Work must be of original design and execution.
– All artwork should be properly framed and ready for installation and follow our framing guidelines.

TERMS OF ENTRY
– Olive Free Library retains a 30% commission and WSA retains a 10% commission on all work sold.
– Images submitted may be used by WSA & Olive Free Library to publicize the exhibition or facility. WSA reserves the right to photograph artwork for promotional purposes.
– Artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.
