E S DeSanna earned her degree in Art Education at SUNY New Paltz. During a career teaching Fashion Design at Marist College, she returned to painting in her off-hours, taking classes in watercolor, oil painting, pastel, and printmaking. She has studied at Woodstock School of Art, in the U.K., France, and in Italy. An award-winning painter and printmaker, Sue brings her love of the rural landscape and a passion for color to her work. Painting, especially en plein air, is her meditation.
In addition to private lessons, she has taught classes and workshops in Massachusetts, the Hudson Valley and in Italy. Her prints and paintings are in collections around the U.S., the U.K., and Italy.
