The Cabin, a new etching by Christopher Seubert, has been chosen by the Woodstock School of Art as its 2016 Annual Print. The print, limited to an edition of 85, will be given to contributors of $100 or more to the nonprofit school. Seubert notes “The cabin is one of the first sights I see upon arriving to school and often the last when I leave. We spend the day together as I have a prime view from my office. Easy to overlook—the simple structure reflects its long history with a grace of character and an inner beauty. Once used as the School’s winter office it is now more often a home to the hedgehog that lives under its floors.”
Christopher Seubert is the Special Programs Director at the Woodstock School of Art and currently teaches at SUNY Ulster Community College and The Woodstock School of Art. He has participated in group exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Dahesh Museum, the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz, the Art Renewal Center 2nd International Salon selection for permanent view at artrenewal.org and has appeared in American Artist Magazine.
While all Friends categories receive the Annual Print, Patron’s names will be displayed on our Patron’s Wall in our lobby.
