ABOUT THIS CLASS
Work on paper to form rich, layered surfaces of color, texture and brush stroke. Apply transparent pigment over pre-existing drawings, magazine clippings or fresh paper using palette knives, over-sized brushes and other tools. Students will be encouraged to work loosely, experiment and play. After a discussion of composition, the papers will be cut or torn and collaged together. It is through this combination of play and deliberation that we aim to produce exciting works of art.
Suitable for all levels; no experience necessary!
